titles & wordmark

• Always use 16:9 aspect ratio for films and animations
• Keep all texts within the safe area
• Wordmark is always visible in the upper right corner
• Wordmark fades out or is cut before the animation in the end
• Use Aino Headline for big titles and Aino Regular for small titles
• For FullHD set text size to 100pt (big titles) and 44pt (small titles)
• Change text size in relation to the screen resolution

alignment and colours

• Align titles to middle-left, bottom-left or center of the screen
• On darker backgrounds use white text colour
• On lighter backgrounds use screen blue (0, 0, 240) color
• Keep titles static, use tracking animation only on texts aligned to the center of the screen
• Keep fade-in and out animations simple. Fade words or letters one-by-one instead of one big block

end animation

• Only use 5’’ or 3‘’ animations – do not retime or cut them
• Never use upper-left wordmark on end animation
• End animation is always used with its original sound, no other sounds or music mixed in

letterbox

If you have to use letterboxed footage, apply the following rules

• Keep all texts within the safe area
• Use rectangular wordmark in upper-left corner
• Wordmark is always visible in the upper left corner
• Wordmark fades out or is cut before the animation in the end

subtitles

• consider the use of subtitles when creating the video
• make sure subtitles do not overlap with other on screen graphics
• choose subtitles style based on the video background
