In the beginning of 2021, the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board started to issue passports with a new design. The design uses the principles of Brand Estonia. Design elements include boulders, illustrations are created using Brand Estonia graphics. Imagery is based on the visual language of Brand Estonia.
New redesigned passport has received the award for the “ePassport of the year 2021” in Europe, Middle East and African region.
