Peter Kentie’s widely used “est”-concept may be used in campaigns, presentations, webpages, on souvenirs etc. Emphasizing the “est” enables the creation of surprising and clever associations with Estonia. Use est-words in headlines, emphasising them in bold, with colour, or by underlining them.
EST is one of our ISO-certified country abbreviations (the other is EE) which also doubles as the English superlative form. The text based “est”-concept is also a great tool for promoting Estonia by businesses and organisations that already have their own visual identity, but can adopt it as part of their copy texts.
Remember — the concept should be used throughout the campaign. Try to find other est-words in addition to the English superlative form.
